This time of year, designers all over the globe crack open their vector graphics programs and create their own Christmas Cards. Now this is something I’ve never done myself, but I had a few hours to kill tonight so thought “what the heck”.
As this is my first effort, I’d be interested to see what people think. I’d also be interested to see your own Christmas Card designs.

Very nice! Its simple, but I like simple.
A lot like HicksDesign Xmas card.

I like it! Nice little illustration.
I’m not great with Freehand so I thought simple would be the best way to go. Looking at Jon’s they are very similar, but to be honest, Jon’s is much better.

I started doing it last year. Two objectives in my mind: 1) be economical with ink; 2) come up with a relatively interesting design.

The red characters are from a collaborative font once available from typotheque, and snowflakes are from Chunk’s “Spunkflakes”, if I remember correctly.
This year I “drew” a very vectorish card:

This time, I’ll be shifting hues around to get some variations.
