Links RSS Feed | August 28, 2004

There has been a feed for my daily links floating around for a while. However I never made it public so those of you using it probably did a little sleuthing in the source code or put two and two together with your knowledge of Movable Type. I’ve finally got round to making this feed public, so you can grab it using the typical bloggers steal these buttons buttons at the bottom of my side bar. You can also grab them from the new feeds page that I’ve added.

Enjoy.

Think i probably used auto-discovery - drag your url into my feed reader, and it searches through the header to find your alternate link :)

I didn’t realise for one minute is wasn’t public - false of habit - grab url of anything looking interesting ;)

Well, a browser that reads link elements, like Mozilla or Safari, has a way to show the RSS feed urls without having to snoop through the source.

And by the way, if an email address is required, let the user know it before they get an error message for not filling it in.

I use www.bloglines.com for my daily feed feasting. It auto detects any lurking rss / atom feeds on a site so you just need to put in a top level url and it hunts for them! Very useful.
I did notice that there are 518 people munching on your feed in Bloglines alone!
