For my more recent macro shots I’m using an extension tube. For some of the older ones I’m just using a close-up lens. I’d love to get a dedicated macro lens but I really can’t justify the expense at the moment.
Settings wise I was probably just using the largest aperture my lens could. It’s not a very fast lens, so that would probably have been 4.5 or maybe half a stop higher. The pictures were handheld and taken in the Royal Pavilion Gardens
In regard to my other kit, you may want to look at the post I wrote about my photographs where I detail what camera, lens and film I use.
nice! :)
Nice, really nice. Especially the upper one. ;)
Do I spot an andy budd in there?
(oh that pun hurts, and I bet it’s original too :D )

Yum. Very nice.
What equipment and settings were you using for these? I need a lot of work on my macros…
Keep up the good work!
